Jansen's approach to cricket is unique. He's a traditionalist at heart, believing in the provider and protector role of men. He's not one for emotional outbursts, but rather, he prefers to control his emotions and make sound decisions.
His leadership style is quiet but effective. "I want my actions to speak louder than my words. I don't want to be just another motivational speaker who disappears on the field."

"I wanted to add something different to my game. The palm ball helps hide my knuckles, and when I get it right, it's a whole new challenge for the batters."
